Light to Night at Chadstone

From 11 June to 12 July, Chadstone’s Light to Night festival is bringing two incredible art installations to Melbourne, and both are free to experience.

HOME – An Exhibition by Rone

Celebrated Australian artist RONE returns with his first major exhibition in three years.

Known for transforming abandoned spaces into immersive works of art, Rone’s latest exhibition, HOME, recreates an Australian weatherboard house inside Chadstone.

Visitors are invited to step through the house and explore beautifully detailed rooms filled with atmosphere, sound and storytelling.

Dates: 11 June – 12 July

Cost: Free

Bookings: Strongly recommended

Through The Looking Glass

Also part of Light to Night is Through The Looking Glass, a striking large-scale light sculpture by artist Dean Norton in collaboration with Studio John Fish.

Located within Chadstone’s luxury precinct, this immersive installation uses reflective surfaces and dichroic glass to create mesmerising light effects and seemingly endless reflections.

The artwork changes throughout the day as natural light interacts with the sculpture, offering visitors a different experience from morning to night.

Designed as a moment of calm among the busy shopping destination, the installation encourages visitors to slow down, look closer and experience light in a new way.

Dates: 11 June – 12 July

Cost: Free

Location: Chadstone Shopping Centre

If you’re heading to Chadstone this winter, these free art experiences are well worth adding to your visit.
