Bluey fans, get ready! The much-loved live stage show Bluey’s Big Play is heading back to Melbourne, bringing everyone’s favourite Heeler family to the stage for a fun-filled family adventure.
After delighting audiences around the world, from New York’s Madison Square Garden to London’s Royal Festival Hall, the hit production is returning to Australia for an encore tour and will be playing at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne.
Based on the Emmy® Award-winning TV series, Bluey’s Big Play features an original story written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and music by the show’s composer, Joff Bush.
What is Bluey’s Big Play About?
When Dad is looking forward to a little bit of afternoon relaxation on the bean bag, Bluey and Bingo have other ideas! Join the Heeler family as Bluey and Bingo use all their games, imagination and cleverness to get Dad up and playing.
Featuring beautifully crafted puppets and all the heart, humour and fun families know and love from the TV series, this is Bluey brought to life on stage like never before.
Audience Participation
After the show, some audience members seated in the stalls will have the opportunity to take part in a game of “Keepy Uppy” with giant balls and bubbles.
