Great parmas, fish and chips, lovely staff and motorcycles everywhere you look – Naked Racer in Cheltenham turned out to be a family outing we absolutely loved.

If you’re looking for somewhere a little different to eat with the kids, this place has plenty of character. You can settle in for a meal surrounded by vintage motorcycles, colourful signs and memorabilia, with something interesting catching your eye in every direction.

A café with plenty to explore
Naked Racer Moto Co grew out of Antique Motorcycles, established in 1988. Today, the venue combines its bar and café with a motorcycle museum showcasing more than 250 rare and exotic machines. It’s an impressive backdrop for breakfast or lunch, whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast or simply enjoy discovering somewhere unusual.

Our photos really only capture part of it. Motorcycles sit alongside the dining area, while the walls are packed with signs, collectables and details that make you want to take another look.
Great parmas and a menu for the family
We absolutely loved the food, with the parmas and fish and chips particular highlights. They’re familiar favourites for a family meal, and having them in such a memorable setting made the visit even better.

There’s also a breakfast menu for those planning an earlier outing, plus a dedicated kids’ menu. Breakfast is available until 3 pm on weekdays and 11.30 am on weekends, so there’s room for a leisurely weekday brunch too.
The breakfast menu offers plenty of variety, from the hearty Naked Racer Breakfast to chilli scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict and shakshuka. There’s also avo on sourdough with whipped feta cream, a poached egg, beetroot purée, sweet potato crisps and dukkah, alongside sweeter options such as pancakes with caramelised banana, fresh berries, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream.
For children under 12, the dedicated kids’ menu includes mini beef sliders and chips, nuggets and chips, fish and chips, pancakes, and mac and cheese. Meals range from $13 to $15 and are available whenever the kitchen is open, making it easy to find something familiar for younger diners.

For our family, it was the combination of enjoyable food and an interesting setting that made Naked Racer stand out. There’s plenty to chat about over the table when you’re surrounded by all those bikes.
Lovely staff and a welcoming atmosphere
The staff were another highlight of our visit. They were friendly and welcoming, and helped make the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.
That makes such a difference when you’re eating out with kids. We found Naked Racer family friendly, full of personality and somewhere we’d happily return to.
Dinner and live music
Naked Racer also opens for dinner on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Thursday is Parma Night, Friday features steaks and ribs, and Saturday nights bring live music. Check the venue’s gig guide for individual events and entry fees when planning an evening visit.

Thursday Parma Night offers five varieties – classic, Aussie, Mexicana, meat lovers and Hawaiian – for $25 each, served with chips and salad. Friday’s “Meat Up” Steak & Rib Night runs from 5 pm, with a choice of steaks and sauce for $28, sides at an additional cost, and entrée ribs for $15. There’s also a $35 steak-and-drink combo with a selected beer or glass of wine. Terms and conditions apply.
