Families flying around Australia are about to spot a little more Pixar magic in the skies ✈️⭐
Virgin Australia has officially unveiled a brand-new Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 themed aircraft ahead of the highly anticipated movie hitting cinemas on 18 June 2026.

The custom-designed Boeing 737-800 features some of the franchise’s most loved characters including Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear, transforming the plane into a flying celebration of the iconic Toy Story universe.

It marks Virgin Australia’s first co-branded aircraft livery in almost a decade and is expected to fly across the airline’s domestic network over the coming months, bringing plenty of excitement for travelling families and Disney fans alike.
Toy Story Magic Onboard
From 1 June 2026, passengers travelling with Virgin Australia can also enjoy a range of Toy Story themed experiences onboard including:
Complimentary Toy Story colouring packs for kids Access to the Toy Story movie collection through inflight entertainment More than 60 Disney movie classics available during flights

A brand-new Toy Story 5 inflight game will also launch from 15 June to 19 July 2026 on domestic flights. Families who play the game will have the chance to enter a competition to win a Pixar-themed holiday experience in Tokyo for up to four people.
Specials Airport Experiences for Families
Virgin Australia is also introducing “Toy Tickets” – an Australian airline-first initiative allowing children to request a personalised boarding pass for their favourite teddy or cuddly toy at check-in.

The idea was inspired by a heartwarming story involving a young traveller reunited with their lost teddy after a Virgin Australia flight.
Toy Story 5 themed experiences will also pop up across select airport terminals and Virgin Australia lounges around Australia in the lead-up to the movie release.
When Does Toy Story 5 Release?
