Riverwalk Village Water Playground, Werribee

Pack the bathers, bring a picnic and enjoy a free family outing at Riverwalk Village Water Playground in Melbourne’s west.

Located in Werribee’s Riverwalk Estate, this park combines interactive water play with a playground and plenty of space for a picnic. On warmer days, kids can splash through fountains, sprinklers, water tunnels, spouts and sprays, or get busy at the hand pump.

There’s plenty to enjoy away from the water too, including slides, swings, climbing equipment, a sandpit and a basketball court. The playground makes Riverwalk worth visiting throughout the year, even when the splash park is switched off.

With barbecue facilities, picnic shelters, public toilets and free parking, it’s an easy spot to organise a catch-up with friends. Bring a ball, some snacks and a change of clothes for the kids!
