Patchwork Park Playground, Altona North

Giant colourful balls of wool, climbing tunnels and a twisty slide make Patchwork Park a fun playground to explore in Melbourne’s west.

Located within The Fabric neighbourhood in Altona North, the playground features interconnected cubbies at different heights, linked by rope tunnels, ladders and ramps.

Adventurous kids can climb to the tallest red cubby before taking the spiral slide back down, while younger children can explore a play structure closer to the ground.

There are also swings, including a nest swing, musical play elements and climbing holds. A grassy area provides space for a run around, while sheltered picnic tables and barbecue facilities make it easy to bring lunch and stay a little longer.

Pair your playground visit with a cuppa from the café, using the opening hours below.
