If you’re looking for the ultimate winter warmer, mark your calendar – the Hot Chocolate Festival is returning this August, and it’s bigger, bolder, and chocolatier than ever!
Running from 1–31 August 2025, the annual festival will take place at the Yarra Valley, Great Ocean Road, and Mornington Peninsula Chocolateries – with 31 unique hot chocolate flavours being whisked up across the month. Each week brings a new line-up of imaginative creations featuring giant marshmallows, edible cones, melting spheres, boozy infusions and more!
Sweet Berry Tacos – dunk a sponge taco filled with berries into your berry-infused hot choc 🍓 Dubai Sphere – melt a golden chocolate sphere filled with rich Dubai crème 💛 Affogato Cone – a hot-cold collision of coffee dark choc and ice cream in a choc-lined waffle cone 🍦 Angel Hair Chocolate – dip a fairy floss-filled bar into strawberry & white choc heaven ✨
🎟️ Tasting Sessions ($28pp): Try 8 flavours and create your own with 50 ingredients – bookings essential!
🍫 Chocolate Bomb Lab ($10pp): A hands-on activity for all ages, available weekdays in Yarra Valley and Great Ocean Road (no bookings required).
