Looking for a magical family night out this autumn? LIT – Lighting up Wyndham Park is back, transforming Werribee’s beautiful riverside park into a dazzling wonderland of lights from 27 March to 13 April 2025.

Now in its fourth year, this award-winning light festival is completely free and perfect for all ages. Running Thursday to Sunday from 7pm to 11pm, LIT features an all-new program of breathtaking light installations, glowing sculptures, and interactive experiences.
What to Expect at LIT 2025
Ephemeral Collection – Over 50 giant, glowing bubbles by Atelier Sisu, radiating colour and sound.
Tarutharu – The Kaurna Skink – A stunning 27-metre-long glowing sculpture, created in collaboration with First Nations artists.

Ctrl-Alt-Self – Step inside a real-time holographic projection of yourself.
The Guardians – A striking installation of illuminated Australian wildflowers.
GOBO Light Walk – A dreamy light-filled path designed by local artist Ariadne Concha.
Sensory Friendly Nights
For visitors who prefer a quieter, more comfortable experience, special Sensory Friendly Nights will be held on Wednesday 2 April and Wednesday 9 April, with a dedicated sensory space available throughout the event.

Make a night of it! LIT runs during the first week of the Easter school holidays, so why not pair it with dinner on Eat Street (Watton Street), or even a weekend stay in Werribee? With plenty of free parking and Werribee Train Station nearby, it’s easy to get to.
