Experience the magic of Constellations by Studio Lemercier, a mesmerising free event lighting up Southbank Promenade along the Yarra River/Birrarung. Running now until 31 August, this celestial display transforms the riverbank into a portal to another dimension after dark.
From 6pm onwards, watch as light projections create abstract, 3D-like visuals on invisible water particles, forming geometric shapes that seem to hover above the river’s surface. Accompanied by an ominous electronic soundscape by Paul Jebanasam, this audiovisual installation takes you on a cosmic journey, exploring the vastness of the universe while keeping your feet grounded on Earth.
Perfect for a family night out, each 15-minute show runs consecutively with just a 5-minute break in between. Be sure to catch Constellations before it disappears!
