Everything is awesome at Legoland Discovery Centre!

A Fun-Filled Adventure for the Whole Family

From the moment my family and I arrived at the Legoland Discovery Centre, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff.

As soon as we stepped inside, we were invited to have our photos taken, which we could later pick up at the gift store. It was a great way to start our tour.

Our first stop was the Factory Tour. We entered an interactive room filled with huge screens and control panels. It was so much fun creating our own mini-figure characters on the big screens using the joysticks. We could mix and match different heads, torsos, and legs from the Collectible Mini-figures Series.

Next, we hopped on the Kingdom Quest ride. The excitement was palpable as we climbed aboard the four-person cart and were handed laser guns. Our mission was to shoot at targets like monsters, spiders, and skeletons. The LEGO-themed ride was full of familiar characters and had an engaging storyline. It took us on a thrilling adventure through different paths.

We then visited Miniland, which amazed us all. It was a fantastic recreation of Melbourne made entirely out of LEGO bricks. We marvelled at the familiar landmarks and loved how the Day-Night cycle brought the city to life. When the lights went off, the city’s skyscrapers illuminated the space, creating a truly magical experience.

The Legoland Discovery Centre Hub was our next stop. Here, the kids had a blast building towers on the Earthquake Table and racing their own built cars on the LEGO Racer Build & Test ramps.

The café within the Hub area was a convenient spot for quick snacks and great coffee for the parents while supervising the playtime.

One of the highlights was the 4D movie experience. Screening every 30 minutes, was a hit with both kids and adults.

The immersive 4D experience had moments of air blasts, water droplets, and laser lights that kept us on the edge of our seats.

Lastly, we tried Merlin’s Apprentice Ride, a ride that allowed us to control how high our cart went by pedalling forward. Our three-year-old children absolutely loved it! It was a perfect ride for them, and it’s worth mentioning that children must be a minimum of 90cms tall to enjoy this ride.

Overall, our trip to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre was an unforgettable family adventure. From incredible attractions and interactive experiences to friendly staff and great facilities, it’s a place we highly recommend for a fun-filled day out.
