Picture this: a magical six-metre orb adorned with thousands of LEDs, singing trees, and a flickering fire garden, all coming together to create a mesmerizing tapestry of colour and light.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic Royal Botanic Gardens, this year’s Lightscape boasts an all-new two-kilometre trail around the lake, inviting you to immerse yourselves in the beauty of nature after the sun sets.
Experience the captivating installations, the ambient soundscapes, and the awe-inspiring illuminated sculptures that grace this extraordinary event.

For those planning their visit, keep in mind there are two entrances to Lightscape—the Pink Trail through Observatory Gate and the Blue Trail via Bridge Gate. Each offers a unique starting point, but both will guide you to the captivating Lightscape trail.
A quick reminder: leave the e-scooters, children’s bikes, and tripods at home as they’re not allowed on the trail to ensure smooth and joyful exploration for everyone.
